The Ohn’ahran Overlook, set in the Ohn'ahran Plains from Dragonflight, is automatically obtained by logging in after Patch 11.1. The Cultists’ Quay, located in the Nightfall Sanctum Delve in Hallowfall, is earned through the Delver’s Journey for Season 2. Meanwhile, Freywold Spring from Freywold Village and the Gallagio Grand Gallery from the Liberation of Undermine raid are unlocked by completing the "All That Khaz" and "Racing to a Revolution" meta-achievements, respectively.
Players can easily preview and unlock these campsites through a new tab in the Collections pane. On the character select screen, a dedicated tab at the top allows players to choose their preferred campsites or opt for a random selection of favorite backgrounds each time they log in.
These customizable character selection screens build on the foundation laid by the Warbands system introduced in World of Warcraft: The War Within, signaling Blizzard's commitment to continuous innovation. Fans can anticipate unlocking more campsites alongside mounts, pets, and other collectibles in upcoming content updates, old areas, holiday events, the Trading Post, and potentially even the cash shop.
