Here's how you can secure an authentic video:
- Comment on the video you are about to record.
- Request a unique QR-code from Clapperboard.
- When recording, make sure to show the QR-code on camera. This step is vital as it links your video to the blockchain.
Once you've recorded the video, the QR-code along with your comment will be permanently inscribed in the NEM blockchain, ensuring the video's authenticity and your authorship. After recording, you will have the video from your camera ready for further verification.
To confirm that the video content has not been tampered with and was created after the QR-code was generated, upload the video segment that includes the QR-code to the Prover.io service. Upon successful verification, you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity detailing your video's integrity.
