It's crucial for all U10m flag vessels to meticulously record their catches. This data is vital for UK fishing authorities to manage fishing levels sustainably, ensuring the health of our marine ecosystems for future generations.
This service is available to:
- Registered vessel owners
- Skippers
If you're a registered vessel owner, keep an eye out for your invite email. The timing of this email depends on your vessel's size, and you'll have one calendar month from receipt to register and start using our service.
Are you a skipper? Simply reach out to the vessel owner to request your invite and get started.
Please note, if you're part of a producer organisation and lease quota, you should continue using a paper logbook and not use this online service for recording your catch.
By using our app, you'll replace the need for:
- The NEP1 form
- The MSAR1 form, although local IFCAs might still require additional information based on your location
- The logbook requirement when leasing fish quota and/or when fishing in 2 ICES areas (currently IV4/VIId and VIId/VIIe)
