The War – A Card Game with Simple Rules for Everyone

The War is a classic card game from childhood that almost everyone has played. The rules are very straightforward: cards are divided equally among the players. On each turn, they play the top card of their deck, and the player with the higher-ranking card wins both cards, placing them at the bottom of their own deck. If both players reveal cards of equal rank, a "war" occurs. In this case, each player places two additional cards face down followed by one card face up. The highest face-up card determines the winner of the war. To win the game, you must collect all the cards.

The card ranking order is from lowest to highest (6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K, A), with one exception: a six beats an ace.
