This app serves as the game host (leader) for Mafia. Ideal for groups of 5 to 40 players.
The app replaces the need for a human game host in Mafia. If you enjoy playing Mafia with friends but lack a dedicated moderator, this app is the perfect solution.
A device with a speaker is required, and a larger screen is recommended. The app announces each game phase and prompts players for their nighttime actions by waking them up. In larger games, the first eliminated player can assist as a co-host by pointing the device at active players, virtually eliminating moderator error. Background music and sound effects enhance the familiar gameplay, making it more immersive. Follow for news, contests, and discussions in our VKontakte group.
In addition to Mafia members and Civilians, the game includes these roles:
- Doctor
- Sheriff
- Maniac
- Don
- Courtesan
- Immortal
- Look-alike
The game supports two card-dealing modes:
First mode:
The device distributes roles. Players receive their secret role by passing the device around.
Second mode:
Use physical playing cards or specialized Mafia cards. During the game, the first eliminated player must then input the roles of all active players into the device.
There are two voting systems:
The first system:
Players are nominated for elimination one by one through the app. Other players cast votes for or against the nominated player. After voting concludes, the next player is nominated. Each player votes once per nomination, and the first nominee is chosen randomly.
The second system:
Traditional open voting. Players take turns to vote for any player they choose. Each player votes once per round, and the first voter is selected randomly.
There are three game modes:
Open mode:
The roles of eliminated players are revealed to all.
Closed mode:
Eliminated players' roles remain secret. At night, the app still announces when a removed role would normally wake up, but the app simulates their actions with a random time delay.
Semi-closed mode:
The roles of players eliminated by voting are revealed. The roles of those killed at night remain hidden, and the app simulates their nightly activity.
