Card-Based Golf Game Simulation
This simulation recreates the Golf card game using a standard 52-card deck along with two Jokers. Each player receives six face-down cards dealt from the deck. The remaining cards form a face-down stock pile, with the top card turned face-up beside it to begin the discard pile.
The goal is for players to minimize the total value of the six cards in their layout. Players achieve this either by exchanging cards for ones of lower value or by pairing cards of equal rank in columns. The player with the lowest score wins the game, while the player with the highest score loses. A full game consists of nine rounds.
Starting to the dealer's left, players take turns drawing a single card from either the stock or the discard pile. The drawn card can be swapped with one of the player’s six cards or discarded immediately. If swapped with a face-down card, the new card is placed face-up. If the player discards the drawn card, their turn ends. The round concludes once all of a player’s cards are face-up.
The game includes nine "holes" (rounds). The player with the lowest cumulative score after all rounds is declared the winner.
