Adin Ross Remains Committed to Kick, Hints at Major Future Plans
Popular streamer Adin Ross has confirmed his long-term commitment to the Kick streaming platform, putting an end to speculation surrounding his departure. After a period of absence in 2024 that fueled rumors of a potential exit, Ross's recent return with a new livestream signifies his intention to stay "for good."
Ross, known for his engaging—and sometimes controversial—content, joined Kick following a Twitch ban in 2023. His move, along with other prominent streamers, significantly contributed to Kick's rapid growth. While 2023 saw considerable success, his sudden absence from the platform in 2024 sparked widespread uncertainty and speculation about a rift with Kick CEO Ed Craven. However, a December 21, 2024 livestream with Craven confirmed his continued presence on the platform. A subsequent tweet further reinforced this commitment, promising a permanent return. His first livestream in 74 days, alongside Cuffem, Shaggy, and Konvy, on the weekend of January 4, 2025, solidified his return.
Ambitious Future Projects on the Horizon
Ross's announcement also hinted at "bigger" plans, though specifics remain undisclosed. Many fans anticipate these plans relate to his Brand Risk boxing events, a venture he's previously expressed a desire to expand with Kick's support. Given past legal challenges with Misfits Boxing earlier in 2024, the success of future Brand Risk endeavors will be closely watched.
Ross's decision provides reassurance for both his fans and Kick. The platform, actively competing with Twitch, has made significant strides by attracting top-tier streamers. As stated by co-founder Bijan Tehrani, Kick aims to either surpass or acquire Twitch—an ambitious but not entirely improbable goal, given its current momentum.
