Announced on February 3, 2025, this initiative marks a significant shift towards collaborative game development.

The upcoming Battlefield game is in a crucial development stage, and Battlefield Studios recognizes the invaluable contribution of player feedback. Selected players from European and North American servers will be invited to participate in the initial phase of Battlefield Labs, providing hands-on testing of new features and mechanics. While participation is initially limited, Battlefield Studios assures the wider community will receive regular updates throughout the testing process. This will progress to balancing weapons, vehicles, and gadgets, culminating in testing map design, game modes, and squad dynamics within the context of established modes like Conquest and Breakthrough.
