It's rare for me to already start thinking about what to do this weekend, but I may just have to dive into My.Games' Castle Duels starting this Friday! The reason? Their latest major update is here, bringing significant new additions and an extra-challenging take on Castle Duels: Blitz Mode!
The headlining addition in this update, Blitz mode, is active every Friday to Sunday and offers an exclusive new PvP challenge. In this mode, you'll have only one heart and a mere 3.5 minutes to prepare. Units will automatically appear on the battlefield, and the quicker you finalize your setup, the stronger they become; so every second of strategizing counts!
To complement this, a new faction is being introduced as well. While Multifaction might sound a bit ordinary, this blend of your favorite armies does something unique. Instead of a fixed, albeit mixed roster, you'll have access to a rotating pool of units from each faction, all with their own unit portraits and weekly Faction Blessings to ensure fresh strategies each time.
Take them to the cleanersBut that's not all. This new update also includes the Starseeking event starting March 20th, which will introduce the Cleaner, the first Multifaction unit, as its exclusive reward. The Cleaner comes alongside the legendary unit, The Undertaker (insert Paul Bearer noises here), and the rare hero Terra. All these new additions offer strong twists on existing formats, ensuring even the most experienced players can expect some surprises.
