Charged Embers Hatch Day: Elekid and Magby Eggs

by Olivia Feb 25,2025

Pokémon Go's year-end celebration culminates in Charged Embers Hatch Day, a special event featuring increased Elekid and Magby hatch rates. This event runs from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time on December 29th. This is your chance to catch these Electric-type Pokémon, including their Shiny variants.

The three-hour event window boosts the frequency of Elekid and Magby hatching from 2km Eggs, significantly increasing the odds of encountering Shiny versions. Players will also receive double Candy for all Eggs hatched during this period.

To maximize your hatching efficiency, a bonus period begins Friday, December 27th, at 10:00 am, lasting until the end of Hatch Day. During this time, Eggs in Incubators will hatch at half the normal distance. Don't forget to redeem available Pokémon Go codes for extra rewards!

ytFree Timed Research will be available, granting a Super Incubator and XP upon completion. A paid Timed Research option ($1) offers a Super Incubator, a Star Piece, and 2,500 XP. Additionally, players will enjoy a 2x Hatch Stardust bonus throughout the event.

For those needing more Incubators, the Pokémon Go Web Store offers the Ultra Hatch Box ($19.99) with 15 Super Incubators, 10 regular Incubators, and five Poffins. A Hatch Box bundle (925 PokéCoins) includes five Super Incubators, five regular Incubators, and two Lucky Eggs.

Download Pokémon Go today and prepare for this exciting event!
