Clash Royale bizarrely partners with Michael Bolton

by Connor Mar 18,2025

Clash Royale has teamed up with Michael Bolton—yes, that Michael Bolton—in a surprisingly delightful collaboration. The iconic Barbarian has undergone a transformation, becoming the “Boltarian,” complete with a mullet and handlebar mustache. This unusual pairing celebrates the release of a new music video featuring a rendition of Bolton's hit song, "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You."

This isn't just a silly video; the song will also be available on major music streaming platforms. While details on a player-reengagement campaign are currently scarce, Supercell seems to be banking on the Boltarian's vocal charm to lure lapsed players back to the game.

The collaboration, following similar high-profile partnerships with Erling Haaland (Clash of Clans) and Gordon Ramsay (Hay Day), is certainly unexpected. While the humorous music video is charming, its effectiveness in attracting former players remains to be seen. Hopefully, additional in-game promotions or a return campaign will follow to bolster the effort.

If this unusual collaboration has rekindled your Clash Royale passion, be sure to consult our updated tier list to optimize your gameplay strategy.
