Combat Enhancement: Unlocking Abundant Items in Freedom Wars Remastered

Quick Links

Freedom Wars Remastered offers diverse loadout customization options. While weapons and Thrones are less frequently changed, Combat Items, being consumables with varied uses, are limited resources.

Missions sometimes provide Combat Items, but rarely enough for substantial stockpiling. Initially, only one Combat Item can be equipped; here's how to overcome these limitations.

How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered

Increasing Combat Item capacity requires specific Entitlements. In your cell, access the Window On Liberty and select "Claim Entitlements." Navigate to the Equipment section, then to the right to find the One-Item Permit. Subsequent permits allow equipping up to four Combat Items.

Story progression quickly unlocks these Permits; all four are purchasable by CODE level 3. Permits unlock sequentially. Equipping a Combat Item utilizes the entire stack; equipping a Frag Grenade, for example, uses all currently held grenades at the mission start.

Accessories can also equip a single Combat Item, though usage is at the player's discretion.

Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered

After completing initial missions, access The Warren HUB area. Zakka's store (upper level, right side) sells weapons and supplies. The "Buy Items" option reveals Munitions and Medical Supplies lists.

  • Munitions: Direct combat damage items.
  • Medical Supplies: Healing, ailment cures, and ammo refills.

Combat Items have individual prices; bulk purchases require significant Entitlement Points. Donating excess resources is advisable if large Medkit quantities are needed. While Operations may reward Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to mission duration and the possibility of consuming more than you gain.
