Crashlands 2 enthusiasts, get ready! Butterscotch Shenanigans just dropped a significant update today, version 1.1, bringing back beloved features from the original game and introducing fresh challenges that fans have been clamoring for.
What’s in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
Introducing Legend Mode—a step above Challenge Mode in difficulty. On the planet Woanope, enemies are now faster, pack a harder punch, and boast beefier health bars. Meanwhile, Flux Dabes has become even more fragile. While there aren't additional achievements for conquering Legend Mode, you'll automatically unlock all achievements from lower difficulty levels as a reward.
On the flip side, Explorer Mode caters to players who prefer a more relaxed experience. It's perfect for those who want to farm mushrooms, construct charming homes, and fish without the constant threat of combat. This mode significantly dials down the fighting, allowing you to immerse yourself in the story, deck out your base, and enjoy the quirky characters of Crashlands 2.
The most requested feature, The Compendium, makes a triumphant return. The developers clearly took player feedback to heart post-launch. The Compendium meticulously tracks everything Flux discovers, from the number of pets and recipes to the items you still need to collect to hit your targets.
Pets also got a bit of an upgrade
With Crashlands 2 Update 1.1, your pets are no longer just cute companions. They now actively participate in battles, each with a unique ability that can be activated every 20 seconds. This adds a new layer of strategy to combat encounters.
Gear crafting has seen an exciting update as well. When you craft armor, you'll now encounter random bonus stats, adding variety and excitement to your equipment. The update also introduces a slew of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets to enhance your gameplay experience.
Numerous quality-of-life improvements are sprinkled throughout Update 1.1. You can now build on a broader range of terrains, customize the location of your home teleporter, and adjust the level of darkness at night to suit your preferences.
Crashlands 2 is available on the Google Play Store. It launched on April 10th, and this patch is a testament to Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to listening to player feedback and continuously enhancing the game.
