Building on the recent wave of excitement, Disney has announced that tickets for Destination D23: A Journey Around the Worlds of Disney will become available for purchase on April 14, 2025.
Destination D23: A Journey Around the Worlds is set to take place at Walt Disney World's Coronado Springs Resort from August 29 to 31. The event promises exclusive presentations from the Walt Disney Archives and Walt Disney Studios, spectacular entertainment, behind-the-scenes looks into Disney's vast creative worlds, and a variety of unique interactive activations and shopping opportunities.
To purchase event tickets, you must be a D23 Gold Member when sales officially begin on April 14 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. The basic D23 Gold Membership starts at $49.99 per year and includes a host of additional benefits, such as access to other exclusive events and special merchandise. Higher membership tiers offer even more perks, with full details available on the official D23 website.
General admission tickets are priced at $299. A limited number of Preferred ($549) and Premiere ($799) tickets will also be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. All ticket types include priority access to reserved seating areas, and D23 Gold Members can reserve one ticket for themselves plus one guest.

The event itself will feature over 25 specially curated presentations from across The Walt Disney Company, along with an exclusive D23 Shopping Spree. While specific presentation details are still to come, merchandise enthusiasts will find plenty to love at The Walt Disney Company Store, Mickey's of Glendale, Disney Studio Store Hollywood, and the Ink & Paint Marketplace—the prime destinations for collectible and limited-edition items.
On August 30, all attendees are invited to celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Emperor’s New Groove at the D23 Kuzcotopia Night, held at Typhoon Lagoon. Then, on August 31, the Disney '80s–'90s Celebration in Concert will bring together Broadway stars and Disney Animation performers for a one-night-only spectacle.

Attendees can also anticipate The Walt Disney Archives: Charting the Course, Disney Global Stories & Inspirations—an exhibit celebrating the diverse cultures that have inspired beloved Disney stories. Highlights include Dwayne Johnson’s Jungle Cruise costume, animation maquettes from The Lion King and Mulan, and original puppets from EPCOT’s Tapestry of Nations parade.

For those arriving in Orlando early, additional activities include D23 Nights at Disney Springs and a special throwback premiere of A Goofy Movie on August 28.
There is even more in store for Destination D23, and IGN will continue to provide the latest updates as they become available.
