Diablo 4 players have uncovered an infinite damage build that not only decimates foes but also causes significant server lag. Dive into the details of this powerful build and explore fan concerns regarding the recent Berserk collaboration.
Diablo 4 Latest Updates
Infinite Damage Build Boss Powers Makes Servers Lag
The latest season of Diablo 4 introduces new seasonal boss powers that, when utilized correctly, can create an infinite damage build, resulting in server slowdowns. On May 9, YouTuber Macrobioboi demonstrated this build in a video, showcasing its ability to obliterate rooms full of enemies using specific boss powers and the Vampiric Curse Legendary Aspect.
To execute this build, players must equip the Vampiric Curse Legendary Aspect, which inflicts a Vulnerable status effect on enemies, enhancing damage and ensuring the Vulnerable status persists until the enemy's demise.
In conjunction, the Flesh Reaper's Disruption boss power stuns enemies while supposedly removing the Vulnerable effect. However, due to the Vampiric Curse's influence, the stun effect loops indefinitely. To round out the build, Varshan's Life Steal boss power delivers massive damage each time a boss power is activated.
This combination leads to an overwhelming number of calculations, causing server lag. As noted by wudijo in his YouTube video, the screen is overwhelmed with skills and abilities, keeping enemies perpetually stunned. He commented, "There are a lot of calculations going on, it's very understandable that this is a laggy build."
Blizzard Entertainment has not yet addressed this resource-intensive build, allowing players to continue leveraging it to defeat numerous enemies, albeit at the cost of increased lag.
Worrying Prices with Berserk Collab
In other news, Diablo 4's collaboration with the iconic manga Berserk introduces exclusive cosmetics and items. However, the high cost of these sets has raised concerns among fans.
While some cosmetics can be earned through gameplay by collecting Behelits and using them in the free Berserk Reliquary, the following items are available at no additional cost:
- Hawks Destiny Back Trophy
- Skull Knight’s Heraldry Mount Armor
- Brand of Sacrifice Marking
- Foretold Eclipse Headstone
- Od of the Berserker Emblem
The real allure of the collaboration lies in the premium sets, which are purchasable with Diablo 4’s premium currency, Platinum. These sets include iconic Berserk armors and additional items:
- The Berserker Armor, Barbarian - 2,800 Platinum
- The Hawk of Light, Rogue - 2,800 Platinum
- The Struggler, Rogue - 2,800 Platinum
- The Skull Knight, Necromancer - 2,800 Platinum
- The Schnoz, Pet Bundle - 2,800 Platinum
- Warhorse of the Hawk, Mount and Mount Armor - 2,500 Platinum
Each premium skin costs around $28, which is nearly half the price of the base game. Purchasing all items would require spending $150 or acquiring a 15,000 Platinum bundle that includes an additional 3,500 Platinum.
This pricing model aligns with Diablo 4's previous collaboration with World of Warcraft, hinting at potential costs for future collaborations with other IPs. Despite the high-quality offerings, the steep prices are causing fans to reconsider their purchases. Diablo IV is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
