Following the exciting reveal of their new project, Project C4, ZA/UM has now announced a mobile version of their acclaimed game, Disco Elysium. This version, exclusively available on Android devices, aims to introduce the game to new audiences while providing existing fans with a convenient, on-the-go option. ZA/UM plans to offer the first two chapters of Disco Elysium for free, with the option to purchase the full game once, ensuring an ad-free experience.
ZA/UM emphasized their commitment to helping players make informed purchasing decisions. "Today’s ZA/UM studio is comprised of both creators and custodians of the Disco Elysium IP. We take both of those roles very seriously and we believe that is evident in the Disco Elysium mobile experience we are creating," the studio stated.

Studio head Denis Havel highlighted the mobile version's appeal to the TikTok audience, stating, "We intend to captivate the TikTok user with quick hits of compelling story, art, and audio, ultimately creating an all new, deeply engaging form of entertainment."
Alongside the announcement, ZA/UM released a debut trailer and screenshots showcasing the game's new features. These include 360-degree scenes designed to immerse mobile users directly into the world of Revachol, and enhanced audio with full voiceover to enrich the character experience.
This is a total re-imagination of the award-winning, gripping psychological RPG Disco Elysium and designed to completely cater to the habits of today’s mobile users. This story-rich adventure has been optimized for short play sessions, allowing players to dive in anytime, anyplace on their mobile devices.
Narrative Lead Chris Priestman described the mobile version as "what audiobooks wish they were," designed for brief, engaging play sessions. Disco Elysium is set to launch on Google Android in the summer of 2025.
It's important to mention that while the studio retains the same name, many key contributors to the original Disco Elysium have since left ZA/UM. Numerous former ZA/UM members have departed the studio since Disco Elysium's release, and some are now working on spiritual successors to the game.
