Epic Cards Battle 3 Is A Storm Wars-Style Collectible Card Game On Android

Epic Cards Battle 3: A Strategic Card Game Review

Epic Cards Battle 3 (ECB3), the latest installment from momoStorm Entertainment, plunges players into a fantasy world of strategic card battles. This collectible card game (CCG) boasts a diverse range of gameplay modes, including PVP, PVE, RPG, and even an Auto Chess-style battle system. Players explore a magical realm populated by heroes and mythical creatures, collecting and battling with their cards.

ECB3 distinguishes itself from its predecessors with a completely revamped card design system, inspired by the Genshin Impact battle framework. The game features eight distinct factions: Shrine, Dragonborn, Elves, Nature, Demons, Darkrealm, Dynasty, and Segiku. Each creature or minion belongs to one of six professions – from warriors and tanks to assassins and warlocks – adding a layer of strategic depth. Hidden rare cards can be obtained by opening packs or upgrading existing cards, with a planned card exchange system adding further options.

An innovative elemental system enhances the gameplay, incorporating Ice, Fire, Earth, Storm, Light, Shadow, Lightning, and Toxic elements to imbue spells with unique powers. Battles unfold on a 4x7 mini-chessboard, requiring careful card placement. A Speed Run mode adds a time-based challenge for experienced players.

Is it Worth a Try?

ECB3 offers a rich and engaging experience with its numerous features. However, its complexity may prove challenging for newcomers. The game bears a striking resemblance to Storm Wars, suggesting a similar level of depth and strategic nuance.

If you're a fan of CCGs and are seeking a new challenge, Epic Cards Battle 3, available for free on the Google Play Store, is certainly worth investigating. For those less inclined towards card games, consider exploring our review of Narqubis, a new space survival shooter for Android.
