FIFA, Konami Partner for FIFAe World Cup 2024

Konami and FIFA teaming up for an esports event might be the crossover you didn’t see coming, especially after all those years of FIFA vs PES debates. But it’s happening! FIFA x Konami's eFootball Is Hilarious! After years of competition, it’s almost ironic to see the two collaborating for an esports event. For context, EA severed ties with FIFA back in 2022 after a decade-long partnership. Apparently, FIFA was seeking a licensing fee of a staggering $1 billion every four years.
It was a massive increase from the $150 million they were receiving. Unsurprisingly, the agreement dissolved. And following the split, EA Sports FC 24 was launched in 2023 without the FIFA branding. And now, FIFA has partnered with Konami's eFootball for FIFAe World Cup 2024.
So, go ahead and download eFootball from the Google Play Store. Right now, there’s another special event underway. You can obtain a custom-designed Bruno Fernandes and enjoy an 8x match experience multiplier to enhance your Dream Team faster.
