by Max Jan 21,2025

With less than two weeks until 2025, it's the perfect time for New Year's resolutions. GSC Game World, the developers behind S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, are no exception, recently sharing their plans and promises for the coming year.

Ongoing work on refining S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 continues at a rapid pace. A significant patch (1.1) was released, addressing over 1,800 bugs. While new content is currently limited, the developers have pledged to expand the game's offerings in the future, with a detailed roadmap expected in early 2025.

Exciting news also awaits fans of the original trilogy. A next-generation patch is in the works for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Legends of the Zone collection on consoles, although specifics remain under wraps. Similar enhancements are planned for the PC versions, likely incorporating modern upgrades to the classic titles.

The developers encourage players to embrace the holiday season by diving into (or continuing their journey in) S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. They also expressed heartfelt thanks to the dedicated fanbase, calling their support "a miracle of the Zone."
