Hasbro is taking Marvel Legends collectors on an exciting journey this year with a fresh wave of Marvel Gamerverse action figures inspired by the legendary Marvel vs. Capcom video game series.

The collection will include both single figures and two-packs, with packaging variations based on character scale. The complete Marvel vs. Capcom roster features:
Wolverine vs. Silver Samurai
Psylocke vs. Thanos
Captain America vs. Venom
War Machine vs. Omega Red
Gargantos (previously known as Shuma-Gorath)
Juggernaut
While Hasbro has previously released most of these characters in their standard Marvel Legends line (with Gargantos being the exception), these new figures boast enhanced designs that faithfully recreate the games' distinctive visual style. Wolverine sports his signature exaggerated claws and mask, while Venom appears in his iconic blue video game coloring. The Psylocke figure demonstrates the impressive articulation achieved in this new series.
While this wave doesn't include every Marvel vs. Capcom character, collectors can complement their sets with prior Marvel Legends releases – even for more niche characters like Marrow and Blackheart. The real challenge lies in completing the Capcom roster. The Fantastic Four: First Steps figures will be available for preorder on Hasbro Pulse and select retailers starting Friday, May 30 at 10am PT, with summer 2025 shipping. Meanwhile, preorders for the Marvel Gamerverse figures will roll out throughout June, scheduled for fall 2025 release.
