Jason Sudeikis confirms Ted Lasso Season 4 is officially happening

The SNL alum and series producer announced the Apple TV+ show's return during an appearance on the Kelce brothers' New Heights podcast. In a clip from their latest episode, the NFL stars pressed Sudeikis for updates following Season 3's finale in summer 2023.

"We're currently writing Season 4," Sudeikis revealed. "Official confirmation - Ted will be coaching a women's soccer team."

This marks the first substantial update in nearly two years, delighting fans hoping for more of the heartwarming soccer comedy. While Sudeikis confirmed Season 4's development, details about the season's length and location remain unclear - even Travis Kelce couldn't extract specifics about Ted's potential return to the States.

"Too many questions - mainly because I don't have answers yet," Sudeikis joked.

Industry reports indicate Juno Temple is negotiating her return as Keeley, joining confirmed returnees Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca), Brett Goldstein (Roy), and Jeremy Swift (Leslie). Production is reportedly targeting July start with initial filming planned for Kansas City before moving back to the UK.

Apple TV+ has already begun reviving interest in the series through humorous social media posts, though exact premiere dates and story details remain under wraps:
