Mai Shiranui marks the third fighter introduced in the second season, and her arrival has significantly boosted the game's popularity. On the day of her release, the peak online player count on Steam soared to over 63,000 players, a sharp increase from the previous peak of 24,000 to 27,000. This represents the highest player count since May 2024.
Available to Battle Pass holders, Mai Shiranui brings exciting new opportunities. In the World Tour mode, players can develop relationships with her, learn her unique moves, and then put them to the test in the Battle Hub.
