Marvel Rivals Battle Pass Has Two Free Skins for All Players

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Free Skins and New Characters

NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals kicks off Season 1: Eternal Night Falls with a surprise: free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins available in the battle pass! Dracula's attack on New York City, following a Doctor Strange capture, sets the stage for the Fantastic Four to take center stage. The season runs from January 10th to April 11th, 2025.

This season introduces the full Fantastic Four to the game's roster. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are immediately available, while Human Torch and The Thing arrive in a mid-season update (rumored to be a Duelist and Vanguard, respectively).

Players can obtain the free Peni Parker (Blue Tarantula skin) and Scarlet Witch (Emporium Matron skin) cosmetics without purchasing the premium battle pass. While the full battle pass costs 990 Lattice (approximately $10), free skins and other cosmetics are earnable through quests and Chrono Tokens. Peni Parker's skin is on page three, Scarlet Witch's on page nine. Note that while a free Scarlet Witch emote is included, her MVP animation requires the premium pass. A separate Midnight Features event offers a free Thor skin.

New Premium Skins Available

Beyond the free offerings, the in-game shop features new premium skins for Invisible Woman (Malice – a black and red villainous design) and Mister Fantastic (The Maker – dark gray and blue with a mask).

The abundance of new content in Season 1 has generated significant excitement among Marvel Rivals players.
