Seasons and weather in *Monster Hunter Wilds* introduce a dynamic range of variables to the Forbidden Lands, significantly impacting both the visuals and gameplay. Understanding these elements can enhance your experience in the game. Here's a comprehensive guide on seasons and weather in *Monster Hunter Wilds*.
Monster Hunter Wilds Seasons, Explained
*Monster Hunter Wilds* features two distinct seasons in the Forbidden Lands: Fallow and Plenty. The game begins in the Fallow season, characterized by its harsh environment and intense weather events. During Fallow, resources are scarce, making survival challenging. This scarcity leads to increased aggression among monsters, with more frequent inter-monster conflicts.
In contrast, the Season of Plenty offers a more pleasant and warm atmosphere, with an abundance of flora and colorful environmental changes. During Plenty, small monsters are less hostile and less likely to travel in packs. This season also makes Endemic Life and various plants easier to find, much to the delight of both the villagers in the Forbidden Lands and *Monster Hunter Wilds* players.
Between these seasons, there are brief, intense weather events known as Inclemency. These events intensify the weather and set the stage for dramatic battles with Apex Predators. For instance, the Pinnacle of the Pack Assignment challenges hunters to fight the Alpha Doshaguma during Sandtide, a fierce lightning-filled sandstorm. Throughout *Monster Hunter Wilds*, you'll encounter various unique weather events during these confrontations.
