Mutt, Henry's faithful dog, disappears early in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This guide will help you reunite with your furry friend.
Mutt's Location:
Mutt is near a wolf cave southwest of the Nomads' Camp, just east of the river bathing spot. The image below pinpoints his location.
Fast travel to the Nomads' Camp for easy access. Follow the path southwest into the woods; you'll likely find yourself above the cave. You'll hear Mutt's whimpers as you approach.
A cutscene will trigger upon discovering Mutt and a wolf pack. This also introduces Mutt's combat commands. Choose to fight or flee; the wolves aren't overly challenging, providing a good opportunity for skill leveling.
After the wolf encounter, Mutt will be under your control. Hold L1 (while facing him) to interact, feed him, or send him home.
Finding Mutt During "The Invaders" Side Quest:
Interestingly, you might stumble upon Mutt's location during "The Invaders" quest, specifically if you interact with the Cumans. Following Vasko while intoxicated will lead you directly to the cave, triggering the cutscene.
However, fighting wolves while drunk and in the dark is significantly harder. It's strongly recommended to rescue Mutt before continuing "The Invaders" quest to avoid a challenging, potentially fatal encounter.
