Pack-a-Punch is one of the most crucial upgrades in *Call of Duty* Zombies, and locating it in the new *Black Ops 6* map, The Tomb, can be a bit of a challenge. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to find the Pack-a-Punch machine in The Tomb.
How to Open the Doorway to Nowhere and Find Pack-a-Punch
Unlike the Terminus and Citadelle des Morts maps, reaching the Pack-a-Punch machine in The Tomb involves navigating to a specific location. At the start of every match, players are tasked with opening the Doorway to Nowhere, a teleporter that grants access to the Dark Aether Nexus within The Tomb.
To find the Doorway to Nowhere, head to the Subterranean Temple area within The Tomb. This can be accessed by progressing through the map and unlocking doors. Once inside the Temple, locate the altar and place the Amulet item there by holding the interact button. Since you spawn with the Amulet, there’s no need to search for it. After a brief moment, the Doorway to Nowhere will open, allowing you to enter the Dark Aether Nexus.
Within the Dark Aether Nexus, the Pack-a-Punch machine is situated near the center of the area. However, be aware that it will relocate after some time. If you wish to continue upgrading your weapons, you’ll need to track its new position.
Every Pack-a-Punch Location in The Tomb and How To Find Them
There are multiple locations where the Pack-a-Punch machine can appear in The Tomb. Initially, it’s always found in the Dark Aether Nexus. Another possible location is closer to the starting point of The Tomb, at the top of the Dig Site in an ornate structure called the Roman Mausoleum. The Pack-a-Punch machine will be there when it's not in the Dark Aether Nexus.
To determine the current location of the Pack-a-Punch machine, use your Tac-Map. Note that The Tomb and the Dark Aether Nexus have separate Tac-Maps. If you don’t see the Pack-a-Punch icon on one map, it’s likely in the other area.
Another method to check its location is by using the stone slab with illuminated areas, similar to tracking the Mystery Box. If the Pack-a-Punch icon appears on the main map section of the slab, head to that location. If the symbol lights up on an island separate from the main map, it indicates that the machine is currently within the Dark Aether Nexus.
