The Palworld early access experience continues to evolve with updates introducing new pals and islands. The Feybreak update, significantly larger than the previous Sakurajima expansion, adds over 20 new pals, but its remote location can be initially confusing. This guide helps navigate to and explore Feybreak Island.
Feybreak Island Location Guide in Palworld
Feybreak Island is situated in the southwesternmost region of the Palpagos Islands archipelago. It's visible from Mount Obsidian's southern coast. The most efficient route begins at Fisherman's Point, a fast travel location on Mount Obsidian's southern coast. From there, utilize a flying or aquatic mount to traverse the ocean to Feybreak Island.
Players who haven't unlocked Mount Obsidian must first access this volcanic island. A prominent landmark, it's visible from many game locations. Travel southeast, equipping heat-resistant armor, to unlock fast travel points within Mount Obsidian.
Alternatively, a longer journey directly from the Sea Breeze Archipelago to Feybreak Island is possible, bypassing Fisherman's Point.
Activities on Feybreak Island in Palworld
The Feybreak update is Palworld's largest expansion to date, exceeding Sakurajima's size threefold. The island is inhabited by high-level pals and a new enemy faction, the Feybreak Warriors.
Prioritize activating the Scorched Ashland fast travel point on the island's northern coast. This allows for quick return trips after potential encounters with powerful pals.
Flying mounts are restricted on Feybreak Island. Attempting flight triggers an anti-air defense system launching homing missiles. Ground mounts, like the Fenglope, are recommended until missile launchers are disabled.
Exploration yields new pals, resources like Chromalite and Hexolite (crucial for crafting and building), and the opportunity to challenge the Feybreak Tower boss, Bjorn & Bastigor. However, this boss fight requires defeating three alpha pals (Dazzy Noct, Caprity Noct, and Omascul) and obtaining their bounty tokens first.
