A Perfect Day: Relive 1999 in New Time-Loop Puzzle Game

Littoral Games has just launched their latest Android title, *A Perfect Day Pocket – Go back to 1999*, which carries the same cozy vibe as their previous hits, *Growing Up* and *Chinese Parents*. The game's art style mirrors the water-coloured, hand-painted visuals of *Growing Up*, effectively telling the story through its beautiful illustrations alone.

During the launch week, from February 27th to March 5th, you can grab *A Perfect Day – Go back to 1999* at a special price of $1.99. After that, the price will increase to $2.99 on Android. If you pre-registered for the game, don't forget to visit Brother Cao at the Youth Palace to claim your Panda Quake Mini 4WD. Also, keep an eye out for the limited-time Easter egg, the Old Uniform, which you can find in 'My Bedroom' until March 26th.

What’s the Premise of A Perfect Day – Go Back to 1999?

As the title suggests, *A Perfect Day – Go Back to 1999* transports you to the year 1999, a period Littoral Games excels at capturing with nostalgic charm. In this game, you relive the last day of 1999 in a time-loop narrative puzzle. You play as an elementary schoolboy trapped in a time loop reminiscent of *Groundhog Day*.

The day you're stuck in is December 31st, 1999. Throughout the loop, you uncover secrets about your classmates, friends, and family while striving to help everyone experience their 'perfect day.'

Repeat, Revisit, and Rewrite

The game delves into themes of memories, regrets, and choices. You can revisit childhood friendships, explore the lives of your young parents, and make decisions that shape the story. The narrative features an interconnected structure, allowing for different outcomes as you repeat the same day.

*A Perfect Day* also includes several mini-games that capture the essence of 90s gaming, such as a Mini 4WD race, a Gamicom console, and an arcade. With its interactive storytelling and nostalgic visuals, the game is definitely worth exploring.

Check it out on the Google Play Store and watch the trailer to get a feel for what it's like.
