Pokémon Unite features six ranks, each subdivided into multiple classes for incremental progression. Higher ranks naturally have more classes than lower ones. Important note: Rank progression only happens in ranked matches—quick or standard matches won't contribute to your climb.

Pokémon Unite Ranks: A Breakdown

  • Beginner Rank (3 Classes)
  • Great Rank (4 Classes)
  • Expert Rank (5 Classes)
  • Veteran Rank (5 Classes)
  • Ultra Rank (5 Classes)
  • Master Rank

Getting Started

Beginner Rank is your starting point, featuring three classes. To participate in ranked matches, you'll need: Trainer Level 6, a Fair Play score of 80, and five Pokémon licenses. Once you meet these requirements, you're ready to jump into the ranked fray!

Performance Points and Diamond Points

Earn Performance Points (5-15 per match) based on your performance. Bonus points are awarded for sportsmanship (10 points), participation (10 points), and winning streaks (10-50 points). Each rank has a Performance Point cap. Once you hit the cap, you earn one Diamond Point per match, crucial for rank advancement. Here's the breakdown:

  • Beginner Rank: 80 Points
  • Great Rank: 120 Points
  • Expert Rank: 200 Points
  • Veteran Rank: 300 Points
  • Ultra Rank: 400 Points
  • Master Rank: N/A

Advancing and Rewards

Four Diamond Points equal a class upgrade. Reaching the maximum class in a rank propels you to the next rank's first class. You gain a Diamond Point for each ranked match win and lose one for each loss. Players with maxed Performance Points also earn a Diamond Point per match.

Seasonal rewards await! Higher ranks yield more Aeos Tickets, used in the Aeos Emporium for purchases and upgrades. Specific ranks also offer unique rotating rewards each season.

So, sharpen your skills, strategize your team compositions, and prepare for the challenge! Climb the ranks, dominate the battlefield, and claim your rewards in Pokémon Unite.

Pokémon Unite is available now on mobile devices and the Nintendo Switch.
