"Price of Glory Update 1.4 Enhances Gameplay with 3D Effects"

The medieval battlefield in Price of Glory is set to become even more intense with the launch of its latest update 1.4. The Alpha 1.4 update introduces a range of enhancements, including an improved tutorial system and full 3D visuals, offering players a more immersive experience. Read on to discover what’s new.

For those unfamiliar with Price of Glory, it’s a 2D multiplayer turn-based strategy game set in a rich medieval fantasy universe. Players strategize by setting up defenses and engaging in battles across diverse terrains such as deserts, dense forests, and fiery warzones.

What’s New in Price of Glory Update 1.4?

The standout feature of update 1.4 is undoubtedly the introduction of 3D visuals. The game’s maps are now fully rendered in three dimensions, adding layers of depth and realism to the battlefield. Units now boast idle animations and particle effects, bringing them to life in ways previously unseen.

Scouting has been enhanced with a new mechanic that allows your units to pierce through the fog of war, unveiling hidden enemies and potential threats.

Another exciting addition is the introduction of new Heroes, each equipped with unique abilities. For instance, Worp is a mechanical Hero capable of teleportation, while Blix can capture enemy units and convert them to your side.

Resource management remains central to the gameplay, with Animo serving as the essential resource for summoning units, executing moves, and activating abilities. However, players receive a limited supply of Animo per turn.

Once comfortable with the basics, players can explore Skirmishes, the game’s casual mode designed for quick, stress-free matches. Alternatively, competitive spirits can jump straight into tournaments, where up to 64 players compete in a single-elimination format.
