The Nintendo Switch 2 currently features just two major original titles available at launch: Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza, with Kirby Air Riders arriving in November. While Mario Kart World is excellent, Donkey Kong Bananza has firmly established itself as one of the year's finest games and an essential purchase for any Switch 2 owner.
Although domestic retailers are unlikely to discount first-party Nintendo Switch 2 titles during Black Friday, AliExpress presents a compelling offer on an imported version. Lucky Tech Store currently lists it at $52.49 after applying the "$12 off" coupon code "AEUS12". With free shipping from a local US warehouse, delivery takes about a week and avoids import tariffs. Since all physical Switch 2 games are region-free, this copy will run perfectly on your US console.

We awarded Donkey Kong a perfect 10/10, making it the only title to earn our Masterpiece rating this year. Despite limited competition among Switch 2 exclusives in 2025, console gaming has been exceptional overall. Recent releases like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, Death Stranding 2, Doom: The Dark Ages, and Hollow Knight: Silksong all approached Masterpiece status but fell just short. While Donkey Kong Bananza may not objectively surpass these titles—given that different reviewers assessed them—it certainly demonstrates why it achieved such a distinguished score.
If you haven't purchased a Switch 2 yet, now is an ideal time to do so. The console is widely available at retailers like Amazon without needing an invite. Nintendo has recently increased accessory prices and hinted that the console price may rise soon as well. Read our full Nintendo Switch 2 review, where Tom Mark accurately calls it "a vital but unexciting upgrade to a console I already love."
