Saber Interactive has confirmed that all previously announced games are still in active development, despite ongoing silence surrounding major titles like the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake.
Following the reveal of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3, Saber's Chief Creative Officer Tim Willits took to social media to reassure fans that every announced project is progressing as planned.
"As one of the world's largest independent developers, Saber Interactive is currently developing multiple games spanning various genres," Willits stated. "Every project we've discussed remains in active development. We'll share updates on upcoming titles as soon as we have exciting news to reveal."

The most prominent subject of Willits' reassurance is the KOTOR remake, which remains one of gaming's most anticipated yet mysterious projects. Originally announced in 2021, the highly-awaited remake has shifted developers multiple times, experienced apparent development halts and restarts, and after four years has yet to materialize.
In April 2024, Saber Interactive CEO Matthew Karch confirmed the company retained the KOTOR project during its separation from Embracer Group, emphasizing the game remains in active development.
"It's evident we're actively working on this project," he stated previously. "This has been widely reported. What I can confirm is that development is progressing well, and we're committed to delivering an experience that surpasses fan expectations."
Willits' recent statement, coming nearly a year later, reinforces Karch's earlier comments. However, beyond the initial announcement trailer, no new footage or details about the KOTOR remake have surfaced.
Saber's development pipeline includes several other notable projects, with multiple titles scheduled for release this year. Both John Carpenter's Toxic Commando and Jurassic Park Survival are still targeting 2025 releases, though neither has confirmed specific launch dates. The studio is also developing a new Turok installment and an unannounced Avatar: The Last Airbender title.
