UPDATE (1/19/25) - After a brief period of being unavailable, TikTok has resumed operations in the U.S.

"In collaboration with our service providers, TikTok is actively restoring its services," the company announced on X/Twitter. "We express our gratitude to President Trump for his clear stance and assurance that our service providers will not be penalized for continuing to support TikTok, which serves over 170 million Americans and enables more than 7 million small businesses to flourish.

"This decision underscores a commitment to the First Amendment and opposition to arbitrary censorship. We look forward to working with President Trump to develop a sustainable solution that ensures TikTok's continued presence in the United States."
