Originally a loyalist Space Marine legion, the Emperor's Children split from the Imperium during the Horus Heresy. Now, loyal only to the chaos god Slaanesh and their own desires, they've further fragmented into warbands that scour the galaxy in search of new stimulations and sensations.
To capture this essence, you have three new warlords to choose from. Lord Kaphrael specializes in eliminating enemy champions and leads the Callous Blades. Xarahan embodies the arrogance and egotism that define the Emperor's Children. And for those who crave spectacle, there's Lucius the Eternal, an immortal warrior renowned for his unparalleled swordsmanship honed over millennia.
The Emperor's Children introduce some truly unsettling mechanics. Units marked with Ecstasy gain effects when their health drops to a certain threshold. Those with Cruelty benefit if they damage, but don't destroy, an enemy unit. Stimulation activates an ability when the unit is targeted by stratagems. Lastly, Combat Elixirs cause certain cards to generate additional stratagems, enabling you to trigger their abilities!
Keep an eye out, as the Emperor's Children will be available in new booster packs and DLC starting now, allowing you to unleash their tormenting abilities and units on your foes.
