Wreckfest 2 Early Access Launch Imminent

If there's one studio that knows how to craft a true full demolition racing game, it's Bugbear Entertainment. These Finnish developers are all about adrenaline and unadulterated, chaotic fun, which is why their arcade racing games boast such a dedicated following.

Wreckfest 2 was first announced last summer, and now we've got an exciting new trailer and, more importantly, a confirmed release date! The game is set to launch on Steam Early Access on March 20!

The latest trailer, though under a minute long, perfectly encapsulates the essence of Wreckfest 2. Players will dive into high-speed destruction derbies, piloting all sorts of battered junkers. Bugbear is putting special emphasis on the damage system, ensuring that every crash, dent, and flying piece of debris is as visually spectacular as possible. The tracks will be strewn with old tires and other debris that dynamically react to cars crashing through them.

During its early access phase, Wreckfest 2 will continue to evolve with regular updates. Bugbear has committed to introducing new cars and even different types of vehicles over time.

To say we're excited would be an understatement! Thankfully, the wait is almost over.
