Black Ops 6 Gets New Zombies Map
No Amalgams Here
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is expanding its Zombies mode with a thrilling new map. This map, showcased on the official Call of Duty X (Twitter) and Treyarch Studio's X account on March 12, 2025, features a grand mansion with visible damage, flaming army car wreckage, dark puffs of black smoke, and internal fires.
The teaser image is captioned with "Personal log. Edward Richtoften recording…" and the "#Zombies" hashtag. Edward "Eddie" Richtoften, a beloved character from the series who played a significant role in Call of Duty: Cold War, is set to return in this Black Ops 6 remake. Fans have also noticed that this map is the Mansion from Liberty Falls, set in February 1991, aligning perfectly with the timeline from the previous Zombies map, The Tomb.
One of the most exciting features of this new map is the absence of Amalgam enemies. Confirmed by Treyarch on their Instagram account, a user's comment about expecting to face "the wrath of 20 amalgams on this map too" was met with a simple "Nope." Amalgams, known for their high health points and powerful attacks, will not be a part of this map, promising players a smoother and potentially more enjoyable experience.
