He revealed the game's performance has significantly impacted their plans. "The game's success changes everything," Broche stated, noting ongoing internal discussions about their next steps.
When questioned about a Switch 2 release, Broche explained: "We're currently evaluating numerous opportunities. While it's too early to confirm anything, a Switch 2 version certainly presents interesting possibilities." The director emphasized the team is carefully considering all available options.

Official Merchandise Still in Planning Stages
Sandfall Interactive has fielded numerous requests for official merchandise, particularly plush versions of the beloved character Esquie. The studio recently warned fans about unauthorized products circulating online.
In a May 14 social media post, they cautioned: "Be aware that any third-party Esquie plushies currently available are not officially licensed products." They noted these unauthorized items often use AI-generated artwork and may constitute scams.
The post continued: "We're actively exploring options for producing official Esquie plushies and hope to bring them to fans soon. Until then, we advise caution against purchasing unlicensed merchandise."
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms.
