by Grace May 13,2025

The Carnival of Doom is a thrilling and challenging side quest within the post-apocalyptic survival game, Once Human, developed by Exptional Global. With the game's mobile release set for April 23rd, eager players have already pre-registered to secure additional rewards. In this quest, players are pitted against the cunning clown, Chuckles, in a sinister game of wits. This guide offers a detailed walkthrough to help you conquer the Carnival of Doom, ensuring you can outsmart Chuckles and claim victory.

How to Navigate to the Carnival of Doom Quest in Once Human

Before diving into the quest itself, here's an overview to get you started:

  • Quest Name: Carnival of Doom
  • Quest Type: World Task
  • Recommended Level: 10
  • Location: Junkyard in Broken Delta, southwest of Meyer’s Market
  • Objective: Defeat Chuckles in a rigged game of Russian Roulette

Even though the recommended level is 10, skilled players might be able to tackle this quest at lower levels. To begin, head to the Junkyard Point of Interest (POI) southwest of Meyer’s Market. Be prepared to face Rosetta soldiers guarding the area; ensure your weapons are fully upgraded to handle these encounters efficiently.

Once you initiate the quest, you'll be transported into a surreal, toy-like dimension controlled by Chuckles. Your main goal is to outsmart him in a rigged game of Russian Roulette. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Avoid Immediate Engagement: Don’t rush into the game with Chuckles right away; it’s designed for you to fail.

  2. Activate Spacetime Vision: Press ‘Q’ to use your Spacetime Vision, which will highlight a cable running from the roulette table to a hidden area.

  3. Trace the Cable: Follow the glowing cable to a wall where you’ll find another figure that looks like Chuckles manipulating the game.

  4. Request a Break: Go back to Chuckles and choose the dialogue option to take a break. This will cause him to unlock a nearby door, allowing access behind the wall.

  5. Confront the Deceptive Clown: Enter through the unlocked door and stealthily approach the room where the second Chuckles is controlling the cheating mechanism. Note that firearms won’t work here, so equip a melee weapon and take him down.

  6. Disable the Cheating Device: After defeating the second Chuckles, interact with the Roulette Cheating Device to disable it, leveling the playing field.

  7. Challenge Chuckles Again: Return to the main area and accept Chuckles’ challenge once more. This time, opt to pull the trigger yourself. With the cheating mechanism neutralized, you’ll emerge victorious.

Quest Rewards

Upon successfully completing the Carnival of Doom, you'll be rewarded with:

  • Energy Link: x200
  • Experience Points: x500
  • Stellar Planula: x7
  • Eclipse Cortex Lv. 2: x1
  • Voodoo Doll Deviation: A unique item that can absorb a portion of incoming damage or redirect it to enemies when used.

For an enhanced gaming experience, consider playing Once Human on a larger screen using BlueStacks on your PC or laptop, along with your keyboard and mouse.
