Dead by Daylight's Terrifying Junji Ito Collection: Eight New Skins Unveiled!
The asymmetrical horror multiplayer game, Dead by Daylight (DbD), is thrilled to announce an exclusive collaboration with renowned Japanese horror manga artist Junji Ito! This "ultimate horror collaboration" brings eight chilling new skins inspired by Ito's iconic works to the game.
A Collection of Nightmares
For four decades, Junji Ito has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique brand of surreal horror. Now, his terrifying creations are brought to life in Dead by Daylight. The collection features skins based on several of his most famous works, including "Tomie," "Hanging Balloons," and "Rumors."
The Killers receiving new skins are The Dredge, The Trickster, The Twins, The Spirit, and The Artist. The Spirit and The Artist will boast Legendary rarity skins, complete with custom audio and sound effects. Specifically, The Spirit gets a Tomie skin, while The Artist dons the guise of Miss Fuchi from "Rumors." Survivors Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Kate Denson also receive new Ito-inspired outfits.
Junji Ito himself was involved in the process, expressing his delight at seeing his characters adapted for the game. In a video shared on Dead by Daylight's official X (formerly Twitter) account, he commented on how terrifying his creations had become in their new video game form. He even took part in a gameplay session, playing as The Artist using the Miss Fuchi skin.
The Junji Ito Collection will be available starting January 7th, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Prepare for a truly terrifying experience!
