New Deadlock Update: Heroes Rebalanced, Damage Nerfed

by Sebastian Feb 22,2025

Valve continues to deliver updates to Deadlock, despite abandoning a fixed release schedule. The recent patch, while not enormous, is far from insignificant. Detailed patch notes are available on the game's forum.

Following the January 18th introduction of four new heroes, balance adjustments were swiftly implemented. Holliday's Crackshot ability now affects units, halving its cooldown when doing so. Calico's Ava ability has been enhanced to destroy objects during its activation.

Existing heroes also received attention: Kelvin's health increased (600 to 650), Vendicta's bullet speed and movement speed were reduced (810 to 740, and 9 to 8 respectively). In total, eleven heroes, including the newcomers, were tweaked.

Deadlock remains in closed beta, boasting a stable online player base of 7,000 to 20,000 players.
