Disney Dreamlight Valley: Where To Find Green Fly Trap

Disney Dreamlight Valley's A Rift in Time expansion added a plethora of forageable flowers, including the elusive Green Fly Trap. This guide details its location and uses.

Finding Green Fly Traps in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Green Fly Traps, a distinctive exotic flower, are found within the Wild Tangle biome on Eternity Isle. Specifically, search:

  • The Grasslands
  • The Promenade

Keep in mind:

  • A maximum of two typically spawn at once.
  • Their green hue can make them difficult to spot amidst the lush vegetation.
  • They appear randomly throughout these areas, including upper and lower levels. Thorough exploration is key.
  • Respawn time is approximately 60 minutes. Purple Fly Traps also spawn in the same locations, potentially lengthening your search. Collect all Fly Traps and return after an hour to allow respawning.

Utilizing Green Fly Traps

Green Fly Traps are crucial for several quests and crafting recipes:

  • Mickey's Flower Power: Requires six Green Fly Traps.
  • The Wild Tangle's Swarm (Gaston Friendship Quest): Requires four Green Fly Traps, along with Purple Fly Traps and other items to create a Carnivorous Floral Arrangement. This quest unlocks after completing "The Wanderer of the Dunes."

Beyond quests, Green Fly Traps are used in crafting:

  • Green Cobra Statue
  • Green Leafy Trellis
  • Potted Lily Pad Bush

Alternatively, sell them at Goofy's Stall for 73 Gold Star Coins each. This makes collecting them worthwhile even beyond quest requirements.
