GungHo Entertainment, creators of the crossover card battler Teppen, are diving into a new project: a retro-style RPG featuring a vast array of pixelated Disney characters. This exciting new title, Disney Pixel RPG, is set to launch later this year.
Prepare to recruit and battle with iconic Disney characters across multiple worlds, each presenting unique challenges blending battle, action, and rhythm gameplay. The game will allow players to create and customize their own avatar, fighting alongside their favorite Disney stars. Expect auto-battler mechanics with opportunities for direct control during key moments. The storyline revolves around combating mysterious programs that have infiltrated the pixelated Disney worlds.
A Retro Revival
This isn't GungHo's first foray into large-franchise crossovers. Given Disney's extensive library of films and properties, this collaboration promises an even more expansive roster of characters than their previous titles.
