Torchlight: Infinite’s eighth season, Sandlord, has just launched, marking the game's biggest season yet. This season introduces a plethora of new content that transforms the traditional gameplay into something extraordinary, challenging you to construct a floating empire in the sky.
What’s in Store in Torchlight: Infinite’s Eighth Season Sandlord?
The highlight of the season is the Cloud Oasis, a city you'll manage and develop. You'll gather resources from the Netherrealm and convert them into tangible benefits by assigning workers to one of five professions. This system unlocks new trade routes, bonuses, and seasonal rewards, blending the thrill of ARPG combat with strategic simulation elements.
Thea, previously known as the divine channeler, has undergone a dark transformation into the Blasphemer. She now spreads desecration instead of blessings, inflicting Erosion Damage that intensifies over time.
The Deep Space region has also been revamped, featuring five new stages packed with monsters and survival challenges. A new item, Probes, has been introduced. These function similarly to Compasses but occupy a unique slot, enhancing both your rewards and the difficulty level.
New Stages Are Here
The endgame experience is enriched with new Legendary Stages. These rare stages offer unique loot setups that can significantly alter your gameplay strategy. For instance, the Abyssal Vault deviates from the norm by containing no enemies, only Mystery Chests ripe for the taking.
In contrast, the Sea of Rites is teeming with goblins that don't attack but can be defeated to potentially summon a secret boss. The Supreme Showdown introduces the Golden Gaze mechanic, allowing both you and the bosses to transform enemies into treasure with the right hit.
As Torchlight: Infinite celebrates its second anniversary, you can download the game from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in the latest season's adventures.
