Possible DOOM: The Dark Ages release date leaked

by Harper Feb 28,2025

The upcoming Developer_Direct presentation, just two days away, appears to have suffered a leak. A major French gaming website, Gamekult, inadvertently revealed the potential release date for the highly anticipated DOOM: The Dark Ages, a prequel to the modern DOOM duology. Their article, prematurely announcing a May 15th release, was swiftly removed, but not before being captured in their RSS feed.

This corroborates earlier reports from insider NateTheHate, who also predicted a May release for DOOM: The Dark Ages. Two independent sources now point to a similar release timeframe.

Microsoft is expected to officially unveil DOOM: The Dark Ages this Thursday during their Developer_Direct showcase. While set in a medieval context, the game promises to retain the signature brutal, demon-slaying action of the modern DOOM titles.
