eFootball gets new ambassador in the form of youth footballing prodigy Lamine Yamal

by Lillian Mar 20,2025

Konami's popular multi-platform football simulator, eFootball, has a new brand ambassador: the rising football star, Lamine Yamal. Yamal, a product of FC Barcelona's famed La Masia academy, is now also playable in eFootball.

His in-game representation features the unique "Acceleration Burst" skill, a reflection of his impressive on-field dribbling ability. Yamal joins other top players like Neymar Jr. and Takefusa Kubo, all boasting this special skill, in the game.

To celebrate Yamal's arrival, eFootball is launching a Carnival Campaign offering free eFootball Coins and exclusive rewards, including a limited-edition carnival uniform. Simply log in to claim your prizes!

This collaboration highlights eFootball's strategy to attract a younger audience by featuring current footballing stars. By incorporating rising talents like Yamal, Konami aims to compete with established rivals in the sports simulation genre.
