Freedom Wars Remastered features eight CODE levels. Progression is linear; you cannot regress. Each CODE level unlocks new Entitlements and operations.
How To Increase Your CODE Level In Freedom Wars Remastered
To check CODE upgrade requirements, consult your Accessory in your cell ("Check CODE Upgrade Conditions"). This typically involves reducing your sentence to a specific year milestone and unlocking certain Entitlements. Regularly check this menu before spending Entitlement Points to avoid unnecessary resource donations. Donating high-value resources and weapons often provides ample Entitlement Points.
While fulfilling the listed conditions is essential for CODE rank-ups, your CODE level is intrinsically linked to the main storyline. Completing main story missions and operations, alongside these conditions, is necessary to pass the CODE exam (also part of the story). Sometimes, main story progression substitutes for the CODE exam.
Operations are also categorized by CODE level, indicating difficulty. Most operations are completed through story progression, although some optional operations become available to assist players unprepared for their new CODE level's challenges.
