HBO's hit series, The Last of Us, is poised for a four-season run, according to an executive.
Francesca Orsi, an HBO executive, hinted at a four-season arc for the acclaimed adaptation, clarifying that while no official plan exists, a four-season trajectory is anticipated. "It's looking like this season and then two more seasons after this, and we're done," Orsi stated to Deadline.
Regarding the highly-anticipated Season 2 premiere in April 2025, Orsi teased the introduction of compelling factions vying for survival, distinguished by their unique visual presentation: "There's a certain way [the show] is presenting them in wardrobe and makeup that feels really different than the average person."

Catch up on Season 1 before Season 2 premieres in April! Unlike the first season, which adapted the entirety of the first game, Season 2 will span a portion of The Last of Us Part II, concluding after seven episodes to create a natural narrative breakpoint.
