"Hearthstone's Emerald Dream Expansion Unveiled"

by Emma May 13,2025

If you've been keeping up with the Pocket Gamer team's weekly Wrapps, you're probably aware of my recent dive into Hearthstone. The upcoming "Into the Emerald Dream" update, set to launch on March 25th, is poised to shake things up with the addition of 145 new cards. These cards will undoubtedly influence your strategies and combat tactics, offering fresh challenges and opportunities.

Alongside these new cards, the update introduces two new Keywords: Imbue, which will be available to Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, and Shaman, and Dark Gifts, accessible to Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior. I'm still wrapping my head around how these Keywords will alter the flow of battle, but it's clear they'll have a significant impact on the meta, especially with the expanded Choose One keyword. Every class will receive a Choose One card, allowing you to select between two different modes during gameplay, adding a layer of strategic depth.

Adding to the excitement, a new Legendary minion, Ysera, Emerald Aspect, will stir the pot even further, promising intense battles against new deck compositions.

ytYou can already pre-purchase the new bundles until the launch date on March 25th. If you're looking for other card game options, don't forget to check out our list of the best card games on Android for more gaming fun.

For those eager to jump into the action, Hearthstone is available for free on the App Store and Google Play, with in-app purchases available. To stay in the loop with all the latest updates, consider joining the community on the official Twitter page, visiting the official website, or watching the embedded clip above to get a sense of the new vibes and visuals.
