WB Games has unveiled exciting news for Harry Potter fans: Hogwarts Legacy will officially introduce mod support this Thursday. While exclusively available for PC players, this feature stands as the highlight of an upcoming patch accessible through both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit Empowers Players
The update includes the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, a powerful toolkit enabling fans to design fresh content including custom dungeons, quests, and character modifications. CurseForge, the renowned modding platform, will host and distribute these community creations. The game will also feature an integrated mod manager, simplifying the process of discovering and installing modifications.
At launch, players can access several pre-approved mods such as Dungeon of Doom - a challenging new adventure filled with enemy encounters and hidden mysteries. However, users must link their WB Games account to access these modifications.
Enhancements & Future Plans
The update introduces expanded character customization with additional hairstyles and outfit options. Trailers demonstrate various mod examples created with the new toolkit.
Meanwhile, Warner Bros. Discovery confirms development is underway for the sequel, identifying the franchise as a major corporate priority for future releases.
