Kingdom Come: Deliverance II's Next Patch to Fix Over 1,000 Bugs

by Peyton Mar 18,2025

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II launched in significantly better shape than its predecessor, but like most ambitious RPGs, it still has some technical wrinkles. Warhorse Studios is committed to post-launch improvements, and their next patch promises to be a massive undertaking.

In a recent interview with Tech4gamers, global PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling revealed the upcoming patch addresses over 1,000 bugs:

"This patch has been in development for over five months and includes well over a thousand fixes."

Naturally, players are curious if this extensive patch will include more than just bug fixes—perhaps new gameplay mechanics or quality-of-life improvements? The lengthy development time suggests the possibility of significant enhancements, but details will only be available with the official patch notes.

Furthermore, Warhorse has confirmed official mod support is arriving within the next two weeks. Initially, modding capabilities will be limited; for example, creating custom missions won't be immediately possible. The studio plans to expand modding tools over time. A precise release date for the patch remains unannounced.
